PCGS Photograde

This is neat - using high resolution images, you can match your coins with the ones on the screen to get a general determination of the grade of your coins. From what I've read so far, they have 25 or so types of coins right now through various grades. So if you ever wondered what that old Morgan dollar you have would grade at, this would give you a good idea! If you have an iphone, I guess they have an app for this too! :ok: |
Re: PCGS Photograde
The morgan in MS-63 looks like crap.
Thanks for the link. |
Re: PCGS Photograde
By the way, the iphone app is free. Downloading it right now.
Thanks again, Mad. |
Re: PCGS Photograde
Glad I forgot to get a fresh photograde book copy off ebay when bing was 20%. This works great. Now I'm gonna have to hit some coin shows just to screw with the overgraders.
Time to get back busy with the coin/bullion db for the iphone. |
Re: PCGS Photograde
You may want to post this in the general gold silver forum - there are a lot of bullion guys always asking about price/grading when they come across something they see or buy.

Re: PCGS Photograde
"Download with Itunes".
I don't want Itunes. I don't need Itunes. What does Itunes have to do with coin grading? Why can't they just keep it simple? AAARGH! Is there a way to download the software without Itunes, or not install the Itunes yet still be able to use the Photograde? R. |
